Located within Highlight Park Medical Practice in Barry, Vale Eyecare is run by Specialist Prescribing Optometrist Tanya McNabb, and is dedicated to managing minor eye conditions through the Eye Health Examination Wales (EHEW) service.

The EHEW service provides free NHS eyecare to anyone resident in Wales and registered with a GP.

Vale Eyecare accept referrals from GPs, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals such as health visitors and school nurses.

Additionally any patient with an eye problem that needs urgent attention can self-refer to Vale Eyecare.
